Terms of Service

This is template text for a product prototype. Have counsel review it before relying on it.

1. The service

Cartroute provides product search, price comparison and coupon information through a website, a REST API and an MCP server (the "Service"). Prices, availability and coupons come from third-party retailers and can change at any time; the retailer's checkout price is final. The sandbox environment serves synthetic data and must not be presented to consumers as real pricing.

2. Accounts and API keys

You must give accurate registration details and keep your password and API keys confidential. You are responsible for activity under your keys. An automated agent may create an account on behalf of a person only after that person has agreed to these Terms.

3. Credits

Credits are consumed by metered calls as described on the pricing page. Promotional credits have no cash value and are not transferable. We may correct credits granted in error.

4. Acceptable use

Do not resell raw Service data as a competing dataset, circumvent rate limits, share keys publicly, or use the Service to send unsolicited messages or to misrepresent prices to consumers.

5. Security research

Good-faith security research that respects user privacy and service availability is welcome. Report findings to [email protected].

6. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, Cartroute Labs, Inc. is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and total liability is limited to the fees paid in the twelve months before the claim.

7. Changes

We will give 30 days' notice of material changes by email and on the changelog.
